PAU awarded for his startup “Agro Tech Plant” at Samunnati Agri Start-up Award 2022

Mr Ishfaq Ahmad Wani, an incubatee of Punjab Agri Business Incubator, Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), was awarded for his startup “Agro Tech Plant'' at Samunnati Agri Start-up Award 2022, organized by MANAGE, Hyderabad. The award was presented by Sushri Shobha Karandlaje, Minister of State for Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare, Government of India. The startup got selected out of 282 innovations and also won the cash price of Rs 25,000. The startup was awarded for being an exemplary impact driven agri start-up, striving towards re-imagining, renewing and rebuilding the Indian agriculture ecosystem. Agro Tech Plant is a manufacturer of Electromechanical Apple Catchers in the state of Jammu and Kashmir.

Dr Ashok Kumar, Director of Extension Education, and Dr TS Riar, Principal Investigator, PABI, congratulated Mr Ishfaq Ahmad Wani for this big achievement.
